Four months after launching on mobile, favorites are finally available on a large screen. A new OQEE update on Android TV makes it possible to select your favorite channels to access it faster.

The functionality was required for a long time and you can now access it simply by restarting your player to access version 1.19.1. Once updated, an information window will tell you that the functionality is available. A section next to “all the channels” then brings together all the favorites and it is enough to go next to create your list.

You can then check the chains that you like and once it is finished, validate the operation. You can then zap among your favorite channels by pressing the left arrow of your remote control on the zaplist present on the reader.

Oqee by free

The OQEE by Free application provides access to the 550 live TV channels including 220 included and many replay channels included, as well as advanced functions (direct control, start-over, recording, etc.). Note that it is possible to put favorites channels to access it faster (via the my list menu).

OQEE also allows subscribers to access their recordings, whether in cloud or in a hard drive (for compatible freeboxes). In 2021, Free decided to create a mobile application which then allowed Delta and Pop subscribers to manage their TV interface remotely. In 2022, Free opened the service to all users with a Freebox subscription and continued to add new features.

Oqee by free is free… for free subscribers having subscribed to a TV offer. Whatever your offer (pop, revolution, delta, etc.) You have access to the OQEE platform. You can download the mobile application for free to your smartphone or tablet, Android or iOS (iPhone, iPad), or connect to online service.

To access the content offered by OQEE, you just have to log into your Freebox identifiers. You will find the registered user of your Freebox Player.

Free offers three adsl and fiber offers: delta, pop and revolution. These offers contain a freebox which supports the ADSL and the fiber (suitable connectors) and offers a wifi router which saves you from dragging cables throughout the house. Coming on the phenomenon of unlimited video streaming platforms, Free has chosen to develop for its OQEE service an avod type platform called oqee cinema.

Unlike the SVOD (Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix and others) where the user pays a monthly subscription to access all unlimited content, AVOD is free. The system is simple: to access the videos, you must watch advertising spots, before and sometimes during (a bit like on TV in fact).

Oqee cinema is thus accessible to all free subscribers without additional cost. You can open the platform from your Freebox by going to the suitable menu. In addition, Oqee Ciné was included at the OQEE external platform, so you have access to it from mobile applications and online service.

Oqee offers many content both films and television series. The catalog is regularly enriched with new features. Are there alternatives to oqee by free ?

You are not a free subscriber and you still want to access television wherever you go ? No problem, other solutions are available. Note, however, that Oqee Ciné is only available on OQEE and that certain solutions do not make it possible to make recordings.
