Tacita T-Race Enduro for Enduro use

There is no secret, everything is said in his name. The enduro t-race is designed to do enduro.

She will therefore like to rub the dirt roads that roam our fields, to the trails that crisscross our forests. And she will love to meet all kinds of pebbles, roots and holes.

But like any specialized motorcycle, it will be much less comfortable elsewhere. It does not fall so bad, because we do not ask him to be comfortable elsewhere.

Its price is higher than thermal, without being absurd

The T-Race Enduro sells for € 15,418 for the 27 kW model and € 16,663 for the 34 kW model.

To compare to what is comparable, the KTM 350 Exc-F-F model costs € 10,699. The difference is therefore notable, even if it is not astounding.

Especially since even if it is the only one to express itself on this use, The T-Race Enduro is not the most expensive of electric motorcycles of this power.

This price difference is therefore simply explained by the immaturity of Tacita compared to KTM. And of course by the cost of electric propulsion which (despite progress) remains higher than that of thermal propulsion.

Disappointed by the environmental imprint of Tacita T-Race Enduro

When we analyze an electric motorcycle, we must end with the analysis of its environmental impact.

Because until proven otherwise, correcting the low environmental of thermal motorcycles is the main reason for the emergence of electric motorcycles.

However, no electric motorcycle is exemplary today.

This is explained by the unanimous choice for both the engines brushless (whose environmental impact is spoiled by the presence of rare earths), and lithium batteries containing nickel and cobalt (whose stocks are constantly exhausted by forgetting to use recycled nickel and cobalt).

T-Race Enduro is no exception. The engine tandem brushless – lithium battery also teams its motorcycle block.

Note that I have no idea the composition of its battery. So I cannot certify that it contains cobalt and nickel, because other chemies exist. But I am almost certain that if Tacita had opted for a virgin chemistry in these two minerals, they would have communicated on it.

So, if this choice can be understood for T-Race Cross, it is less so for this model. However, there would be enough to be proud not to do like competition.

Their silence on this subject is therefore quite evocative.

In summary: if you are looking for an electric enduro, take the tacita t-race enduro

Tacita T-Race Enduro is the only enduro of electric motorcycles over 11 kW.

Since then, If you are looking for an electric enduro equivalent to a 350, You don’t have so much choice. But don’t fear. If you opt for T-Race Enduro, you are in good hands.

Conversely, if you are looking for a more urban motorcycle (with a little more autonomy), go your way.

You can certainly find better, on the cake side for example.
