Play! Points

The play! Points are allocated to players when they do what they like: playing Pokémon Games. You win play! Points for all Pokémon tournaments approved or seasons of which you participate. Larger events, such as championship competitions, offer even more play! Points.

The Play! Points differ from championship points because they reward participation, while the Championship points reward performances in tournaments.

The Play! Points can only be obtained by participating at least two rounds from a tournament. A bye does not count in this total of two rounds. The defeats due to a delay do not count in this total of two rounds.

To get Play! Points, create an account at the Pokémon trainer club with a play player identifier! Pokémon and choose to participate in Play programs! Pokémon. Then participate in tournaments and Pokémon leagues. Please note that you should choose if you want to win play! Points for the Pokémon JCC, the Pokémon video game or Pokémon Go, Because the points are allocated separately for each game.

Play distribution! Points for leagues and tournaments in 2024

For the 2024 tournament season, the play! Points will be assigned as follows.

• Pokémon leagues: 1 per league season, with a maximum of 12 per year.
• Preview tournaments of the Pokémon JCC: 1 per event, no limit.
• JCC Pokémon League challenges: 1 per event, no limit.
• JCC Pokémon League Cups: 1 per event, no limit.
• First challenge tournaments of the Pokémon JV: 1 per event, no limit.
• Midseason Showdown of the JV Pokémon Championships: 1 per event, no limit.
• Regional championships: 3 per event, no limit.
• International championships: 5 per event, no limit.
