Mini Interior Cooper

As you probably know now, the replacement for the mini at the same time will be called Cooper. It is currently a level of range on the British city car, it will become the name of the model, in the same way as the Mini Clubman or Countryman. And this mini Cooper will exist both in thermal and electric.

The new mini Cooper is coming soon, and we now have a good overview of what the interior will look like. Several spy photos take us into the passenger compartment, in which many things are hidden. Except a huge circular display screen in the center.

This kind of screen is not new for mini, but it is considerably larger than that found on the current model. It is mounted on the dashboard like a tablet, with a few buttons and switches below. The screen seems to display mainly radio stations, but at the top, there is useful information for the driver, such as speed and autonomy.

You will surely have noticed, almost all the rest of the dashboard, including the space in front of the driver, is covered. While other cars are equipped with analog gauges or a second digital screen reserved for the driver, the new generation of Cooper will only have the central screen.

A head-up display should be available to project information on the windshield, but other than that, the interior of the new mini should be minimalist, like that of the Aceman concept of 2022.

It should be noted that these photos show the interior of an electric mini, but that an internal combustion motor model will also be developed. It remains to be seen whether the petrol version will adopt the same style for the interior.

What is not a mystery is the external aspect of the car. Spy photos taken at the beginning of April immortalized a Cooper on what seemed to be the scene of a shoot in Los Angeles, in the United States. This model had no camouflage and the photos were so clear that Mini had no other choice than to formalize the outside look of its model by attaching some additional photos.

As you probably know now, the replacement for the mini at the same time will be called Cooper. Whatever your choice of motorization, the interior of the mini cooper will look like this. Mini has just unveiled the dashboard of its future city car, while waiting to do the same with the bodywork. It happens after the rims, the steering wheel and the seats, which we had discovered in May … summer will be hot long before the official launch of the car in early September at the Munich fair, even if images are already on the run on the canvas since winter.

But back to this dashboard. Mini underlines that it is (even more) more inspired by that of the original mini of Issigonis. As promised, there is a large Circular Tactile Central Screen Tipping which brings together instrumentation and the infotainment system. That those who prefer to look in front of them reassure themselves, a head -up display is also on the menu.

The same will also be delighted with the presence of a few physical buttons below, around the warning and the rotary control which takes the place of a contact key. Obviously a fashion selector and desemburation. It’s better than nothing…

Although its thick horizontal branches are clad in pimples, Mini points out that the steering wheel is “smaller and more sporty”. Note the third vertical branch replaced by a tissue strip. And the room lighting which can project different patterns on the furniture, here garnished with textiles.
