Your webcam does not work ? You do not see any image or information ? No problem ! Only follow these simple steps and we will operate your webcam in the blink of an eye:

Step 1.

If you use an external webcam, check that it is connected to the USB port on your computer and its connection cable is not damaged. When you connect a new webcam for the first time, you will generally see a notification on the screen or hear a signal. You can also see a message where you need to click on “authorize” to give your webcam access to your computer.

If you want to see if your camera is recognized by your computer, you can check your system settings. For Mac users, you can access it by clicking on the Apple icon at the top left. Click on “About this Mac” → “System report” → “devices”. In Windows, go to the configuration panel, then select “Show devices and printers” to display current devices.

Step 3.

Make sure your software is up to date, including your operating system, your webcam drivers and the software you use for your webcam. If you use an external webcam, check if it is compatible with the software you use to use it.

How is your webcam tested?
