The Ford Mustang Mach-E claims up to 600 kilometers of autonomy. Available in different motor and batteries configurations, the Ford electric car will be available in Europe during the first half of the year 2021.

Design of the Ford Mustang Mach-E

Integrated into the Mustang family, the Ford Mach-E (pronounce “Mac I” is largely inspired by the lines of the legendary American model while distinguished by its completely full grille. We thus find the Musant DNA through long and muscular hood, the rear raised wings, the sharp headlights and the triple rear lights.

Mach-E engines and performance

Depending on the type of battery chosen, the Mach-E can develop between 269 and 294 horsepower in propulsion for a torque of 430 nm. In all -wheel drive, the model accumulates between 269 and 351 power horsepower in its basic version and develops 580 Nm of torque.

In its GT version, the power climbs up to 487 horsepower and the 860 Nm torque.

In use, the driver will be able to choose from three driving modes that will vary the car performance: engage, Whisper and Unbridled.

Battery and autonomy of the Ford Mustang Mach-E

To better adapt to the needs of its customers, Ford offers two battery configurations. In 75.7 kWh, the first offer consists of 288 lithium-ion cells and offers between 400 and 440 km of autonomy in WLTP cycle (estimate) depending on the configuration chosen. Driven at 98.8 kWh of capacity, the second totals 376 cells and allows to travel between 378 and 610 kilometers with a load depending on the power of the Mach-E.

At home, the machine can be recharged through a domestic outlet and a wall-box. It is then possible to recharge with a power of 11 kW.

Marketing and prices

Industrialized in Mexico, the Ford Mustang Mach E starts from 48.990 euros excluding bonuses for the propulsion version equipped with the small battery. For the declination with all -wheel drive with extended autonomy, the manufacturer announces a basic price of 65.500 euros excluding bonuses.

More powerful, the GT version begins from € 77,490.

Note that this rate only concerns the Standard Range Propulsion model, entry -level for the electric car.

At least, it can therefore benefit from the ecological bonus of € 5,000-or even € 7,000 if the home meets all the conditions, which brings its price to € 41,990 brings back.
