How to synchronize my Outlook calendar with the default calendar applications (s)

This procedure presents the operating mode to configure the synchronization of the academic agenda with Outlook using the Caldav protocol.

Step 1 – Download and install the extension

To synchronize your webmail calendar in Outlook you must download and install the Outlook Caldav Synchronizer extension.

As soon as you have installed it on your computer, you restart Outlook. The extension will then be visible in the blue ribbon of the upper part of Outlook.

Step 2 – Open Outlook and click Caldav Synchronizer

Open outlook and click the tab ” Caldav synchronizer“, On the upper part of your screen. If Outlook already opened, close it then open it so that the new module previously installed is active.

Step 3 – Click on synchronization profiles

Click on “Profile synchronizations” To configure your calendar.

Step 4 – Add a new profile

You must create a profile for your academic agenda.

1. Click on Green icon in the upper left corner.
2. Select Generic Caldav/Carddav as a profile type.
3. Click on OK.

Step 5 – Select the Caldav directory in Outlook

Start by grasping a name for your profile. Then you must select the directory in which the calendar will be saved on your computer.

1. Click them … Behind the entry field for the Outlook directory.
2. Select the calendar directory under your Outlook data file.
3. Click on OK to save.

Step 6 – Enter your server settings

Then enter your server settings.

• URL Dav: https: // agenda.AC-Nancy-Metz.Fr/Dav/Home//Calendar/
• Username: Your academic messaging address
• Password: Your academic password
• Mail address : Your academic email address
• Synchronization mode: Outlook server (two senses)

Attention : Remember to fully enter your academic address in the “URL Dav” parameter

Click on OK To save your settings.

How to synchronize my Outlook calendar with the default calendar applications (s) ?

Outlook allows you to export your calendars and events to default calendar applications on Android. This allows you to display them and modify them easily via the default calendar application.

Access your account in Settings. Then press Synchronize calendars.

The export of two -way calendar is supported for Microsoft 365, Outlook.com and modern hybrid authentication for local mailboxes. The bidirectional management ensures that all the new events you add or the existing events that you modify will be synchronized between your device and your Outlook accounts.

If you want to delete the calendar and synchronized events, you can activate the switch Synchronize calendars at any time and they will be deleted from the default calendar applications (s).
