ADSL, broadband Internet via the telephone line

ADSL technology makes it possible to pass a broadband internet connection to a telephone line (copper network) with a downstream flow (which you receive) and an amount flow (what you send). It is thanks to the ADSL that the reception of TV channels by Internet, online games, and the download of “heavy” files have become possible from 1999. ADSL and VDSL2 flows of Internet operators

Several factors can influence the actual speed you will get with your ADSL Internet offer. The distance between your box and the telephone central on which you depend.
