Used cars in Germany: the best sales and shopping sites

There are many used online sites in Germany to buy or sell vehicles. But what are the best? We have made a ranking of used car websites. Our evaluation criteria initially include the number of vehicles offered on the used vehicle page, filtering options and general printing of the page.

2nd place for Autoscout24.of

Autocout24.of is clearly in second position. A few years ago, Autoscout24.offered more vehicles than mobile.of, but at that time, the filtering options were not as sophisticated as mobile.of. This is perhaps one of the main reasons why mobile.A has exceeded autoscout24.of. Autoscout24.has announced around 1,000,000 vehicles in the current state. 3rd place for Hey.because

With approximately 3,80,000 vehicles currently offered (on 06/2020), Hey.Because won a good 3rd place. VW Golf research has given around 25,000 results. Only car dealers can advertise the site, but this also has the advantage that all the vehicles offered are accompanied by a warranty.

4th place for auto.of

With around 170,000 vehicles currently offered auto.take 4th place. VW Golf research has produced around 4,000 results. Private car sellers can announce their vehicle here for free.

5th place for PKW.of

The PKW site.is not one of the most popular German used car sites. However, with around 144,000 vehicles offered and a good price assessment function as well as good filtering options, it deserves to be included in this list. With around 7,000 results, VW Golf search has generated even more results than auto.of. Private car sellers can announce their vehicle here for free.

6th place Romoto.of

Unfortunately, we could not determine the total number of vehicles offered on Romoto.of. However, VW Golf research gave good results with 6000 vehicles that would have justified a higher ranking. The site is also quite neat and should therefore not miss in our list. Advertising is free for private car sellers!

7th place: Meinauto.of

Meinauto’s ranking.East shared by various German ad sites that offer various other products in addition to vehicles. This is why the search and filtering functions are generally very limited here. But some of them have a fairly well done vehicle inventory. It is therefore worth traveling these pages and perhaps you will discover the right deal. Tree car sellers can also announce their vehicles for free on these pages: Kalaydo.DE, Quoka.of and eBay-Kleinangebote.of.
