Friday, the Canal+ group cut the broadcast at the channels of the TF1 group, for lack of agreement between the two companies.
In a letter addressed on Friday September 2 to the Chairman of the Management Board of Canal+, Maxime Saada, the Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malak, asked the Canal+ group to restore the dissemination of TF1 chains on its TNT SAT offer which allows you to receive TNT channels in areas where the hertzian coverage is bad.
This ministerial request comes following the Canal+ decision to stop broadcasting the free channels of the TF1 group (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Films and LCI series) when the distribution contract between the two parties, due in particular to the requirement of a payment “Very important remuneration”.
