‍ SFR flow methodology

Our study of SFR flows is based on more than 6 million flow tests carried out in 2022 on our connection speed measurement tool and on mobile debit tests carried out by ARCEP during the annual QOS campaign (2022).
From this data, a statistical analysis is carried out to determine the average values by technology, operator and regional of the downhill debit (Download), the amount (upload) and the latency (Ping).

The SFR ADSL and fiber flow in France

SFR fiber flow

In download, with an average fiber flow descending from 353.67 Mbit/s, SFR occupies 1st place in the classification of operators.

In upload, with an average fiber flow in upload of 267.54 Mbit/s, SFR is 1st in the classification of operators at the speed of data receipt in France.

SFR’s average ping fiber is 11.32 ms.

The ADSL SFR flow

In descending flow, SFR To an average Download adsl debit of 11.57 Mbit/s, or a progression of 15.70% in one year.
SFR thus occupies the 1st place in the classification of operators.

For the amount of speed, the average ADSL flow of SFR is to 3.49 Mbit/s, thus placing SFR in the 1st position in the operators’ classification by upload.

Once the test is finished, you can perform another if necessary, by pressing the “test again” button.

Understand the results

  • latency: time required for information to be returned to an round trip between your phone and the network. The lower the result, the more efficient your connection.
  • the downward speed: quantity of data that your connection can receive in a second. The higher the measurement, the better the flow of your connection.
  • The amount of database: quantity of data that your connection can send in a second. The higher the measurement, the better the flow of your connection.

The test will also tell you, the quality of use .
