Samsung Galaxy S10: Here are the three screen sizes of the future flagship

In this one, he reveals what will be the screen sizes of the supposed three versions of the Galaxy S10, the next flagship of the Korean brand and one of the most anticipated models of the start of 2018 year.

Evan Blass, alias Evleaks, has struck again. The American Leaker, journalist for Venturebeat, published a new leak on Twitter. It concerns one of the most anticipated smartphones of the beginning of 2019, the Samsung Galaxy S10. Or rather “the” Galaxy S10 of Samsung, since, according to the most common rumors, the smartphone will be available at least in three sizes. These three versions are called, according to rumors the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10 Lite. A line-up that looks like it is that Apple’s with the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR.

From 5.8 inches to 6.4 inches

So let’s observe the information revealed by Evan Blass. First, there would be three different sizes. The smallest, the S10 Lite, would have a 5.8 -inch screen. The second, the classic S10, would incorporate a 6.1 inch slab. Finally, the S10+, the largest, would benefit from a 6.4 -inch screen. Recall that the screens of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ measure 5.8 and 6.2 inches. The difference in size between one of these two models and its successor should be taken into account of the new screen and the reduction of the borders.

We therefore see that Samsung partially appropriates Apple’s product strategy, but chooses to offer the lightest version of the S10 the lower screen (while the iPhone XR screen is located between those of the iPhone xs and xs max). This choice is very classic for Samsung who has always preferred to integrate his best configurations in the biggest phones. We had hoped, with the iPhone SE and the Xperia ZX Compact, that Samsung would inspire these initiatives to change. But no.

Other interesting information, we now know what are the standard numbers of the three models: SM-G970F for the S10 Lite, SM-G973F for the S10 and SM-G975F for the S10+ (the F indicating the region in which the mobile will be sold )). Evan Blass also recalls what are the code names of the three phones: Beyond 0, Beyond 1 and Beyond 2, respectively. You have certainly heard of a Beyond in the columns of certain technophile sites.

Where the webcam will be placed ?

Before finishing, small precaution: technical details come from a protective shell designer. These are not the real data, but the forecasts made by the accessorist. This means that the risk is not zero (far from it, even) that there is a gap between the information here present and the finished product that Samsung will reveal (logically) at the beginning of next year. One of these “offsets” will be believed to be other leaks on the Galaxy S10, the location of webcams. Yes, there should be holes in the screens of the three versions. But they could be positioned in the upper right corner, not in the center, according to previous rumors.
