The range revolves around a three -cylinder PureTech 1.2 -liter petrol engine available under two power levels: 110 and 130 horsepower. The variant of 110 horsepower is only available in manual gearbox, while that of 130 horsepower leaves the choice to the customer between mechanical and automatic gearbox. The offer concerning diesel is more succinct and revolves around a 1.5 -liter BlueHDi four -cylinder engine of 130 horses, Available in manual or automatic transmission.

From the start, the new Peugeot 308 is available with its two rechargeable hybrid engines of 180 and 225 horsepower. The prices are higher and start from 36,800 euros for the 180 horsepower model, to reach 44,900 euros for the most powerful and the most high -end version.
