A new Internet portal

The new subsidies should be voted at the next IDFM council on April 20. The annual budget of this system will increase by one million euros, reaching 35 million euros.

The Transport Organizing Authority in Île-de-France has also announced that it would set up a new Internet portal on Iledéfrance-Mobilites.fr to make subsidy requests. It should be operational next September.

Purchase bonuses that already existed

• For a conventional electric bike (VAE): 50% maximum of the purchase price including tax of bikes and accessories (basket/bags, helmet, anti -theft), within the limit of 400 euros (instead of 500 euros),
• For a VÉlo Cargo without electrical assistance: 50% maximum of the purchase price including tax of bikes and accessories (basket/bags, helmet, anti -theft), within the limit of 400 euros (instead of 500 euros),
• For a VÉlo Cargo with electric assistance: 50% maximum of the purchase price including tax of bikes and accessories (basket/bags, helmet, anti -theft), within the limit of 600 euros,
• For a folding bike, with or without electric assistance: 50% maximum of the purchase price including tax of bikes and accessories (basket/bags, helmet, anti -theft), within the limit of 400 euros (instead of 500 euros),
• For a suitable bike: 50% maximum of the rest payable by the purchase price of the bicycle and any accessories for maneuverability and safety, within the limit of 1.200 euros.

New aid added

• For an electrification kit installed by a professional: 50% maximum of the purchase and installation price, within the limit of 200 euros,
• For a mechanical bike for 15-25 year olds: 50% maximum of the purchase price and accessories (basket/bags, helmet, anti -theft), within the limit of 100 euros (This aid is available on Labaz, the smartphone app in the region that lists aid and good culture-sport plans for 15-25 year olds).

► General novelty

Bonuses for the purchase of bikes (whether electric, cargo, suitable or classic) are also valid for the reconditioned Sold by professionals (previously, only the new was eligible).

How the amount of the premium for the purchase of a bicycle is calculated ?

The premiums for the purchase of Île-de-France Mobilités bikes can be accumulated with the aid provided by the other local communities of Île-de-France.

The accumulation of the different aids is set within the limit of the following ceilings:

• For a conventional electric bike/a cargo bike without electrical assistance/a folding bike: Ile-de-France Mobility Help + Local Help (s) = 400 euros maximum,
• For a cargo bike with electric assistance: Ile-de-France Mobility Help + Local Help (s) = 600 euros maximum.

First of all, ask

Before requesting the help of Île-de-France Mobilités, you must therefore find out about the existence of help with your municipality and/or your intercommunality. Then, if such aid exists, wait for the result. The sum of the aids will not be able to exceed the ceilings mentioned above.

If there is no help in your municipality or intercommunality for the type of bike purchased, you do not have to provide proof in your file.

• For a suitable bike: The aid of Île-de-France Mobilités is calculated on the amount remaining dependent, after having benefited from any local aid and a reimbursement for health insurance, mutual or other applicable funds.

Practical information

When buying your bike, Keep your supporting documents (invoice and certificate of approval/compliance).

Documents to be provided in digital form (types of files accepted: .pdf, .bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .png):

• The online request form,
• A copy of the bike purchase bill and its accessories on behalf of the applicant (invoices dated before 12/1/2019 will not be accepted), written in French and whose sum is expressed in euros,
• A copy of the certificate of approval or certificate of compliance of the bicycle given by the seller,
• A copy of proof of address of less than 3 months in the name of the applicant or a certificate of accommodation,
• A copy of an identity document,
• A copy of proof of emancipation for emancipated minors,
