Toyota warranty

At Toyota, your new car is guaranteed for 3 years or 100,000 kilometers (2) because we particularly want to highlight our commitment to the quality and reliability of our products.

When delivery of your new Toyota, your approved distributor signs the quality certificate which confirms that your vehicle has been manufactured according to the most severe standards in Toyota and that it was carefully inspected before you are delivered to you.

The Toyota manufacturer’s guarantee covers any defect which could be attributed to a manufacturing or assembly error and which would appear during normal vehicle use for a period of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers, the first of these limits affected, and in no limitation of mileage during the first year.

The manufacturer’s warranty takes courses on the date of its first registration and it is passed freely to possible subsequent owners. The vehicle must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s directives and instructions.

The Toyota warranty on the hybrid system

Toyota offers hybrid technology on many models in its range. A revolutionary technology that allows these models to combine performance, low consumption, environmental leadership but also to display very reliability.

To prove to you the efficiency, quality and reliability of our hybrid technology, Toyota guarantees the components of the hybrid system (1) for 5 years or 100,000 km (2).

All the other components of these Toyota benefit, like all Toyota, from the 3 -year or 100,000 kilometers warranty (2).

(1) The hybrid organs covered are: the high voltage HV battery, the battery control module, the control module (ECU) of the hybrid system, the inverter / converter.
(2) at the first of the two limits reached.

Toyota Canada guarantees each new vehicle registered in Canada which is used in Canada or in the continental part of the United States. The guarantee period comes into force on the date of registration of the vehicle, which may be prior to the date of sale.

Maintenance services under the warranty can be carried out at Gareau Toyota or any authorized Toyota dealer. Certain factors such as negligence, changes and accidents may cancel the guarantee. Consult your Toyota dealer for more details.

Road assistance

36 months or unlimited mileage Toyota road assistance representatives are at your disposal 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure that you receive a quick and efficient service from one of our approved suppliers. For a service request, Call 1-888-toyota-8

Assistance services include:

Towing

Until the Toyota dealer of your choice within a radius of 50 kilometers or the nearest Toyota dealer within a radius of 300 kilometers. Or, in the event of an accident, to a collision declaration center (if your municipality requires it).

Or towing, if the vehicle still does not start

Assistance in the event of accidental locking

When you forget your keys inside the vehicle

Petrol delivery

Up to 5 liters of fuel

Change of a tire

To install the emergency tire in the event of a puncture

Troubleshooting a swollen vehicle

To extract your vehicle if bogged down in a ditch, mud or snow

Replacement service reimbursement

If, for any reason, you could not reach Toyota road assistance to obtain the towing service or emergency road assistance, you may be eligible for reimbursement of applicable costs. The applicable costs are $ 250 for towing and $ 100 for emergency road assistance. Some restrictions apply.
