Design and screen

The Samsung Galaxy A54 has an elegant and modern design, with a gray finish. The Samsunggalaxy A54 smartphone is equipped with an exynos 1380 processor to 8 cores up to 2.4 GHz, associated with 8 GB of RAM to ensure a fluid and reactive user experience. The internal memory of 128 GB or 256 GB can be extended up to 1 to via a microSD card, thus offering sufficient storage space for all your applications, photos and videos.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A54 has three photo sensors, including a main sensor of 50 Mp with optical stabilization, guaranteeing net and stable photos, even in low light conditions. In this price range, there are solid devices such as the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, the very recent Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 pro+, or even the Oppo Reno 8. We even note that the 2022 Galaxy S22 is barely more expensive than this A54 5G…

Ergonomics and design

At first glance, Samsung does not seem to fundamentally see its copy, but an attentive exam shows that the Galaxy A54 5G breaks fairly clearly with its predecessor A53 5G. Its design gains in nobility. Thus, the polycarbonate of its dorsal shell is replaced by a more elegant glass back-and which marks much more fingerprints, but this is another case. This flat shell hosts a triple photo module, each lens being directly integrated and without block to surround them.

The design of the A54 is therefore harmonized with that of the Galaxy S23, and it appears all the more since the materials are comparable. However, these are not without impact on the weight of the mobile, which goes from 189 to 202 g, even though the newcomer is more compact (158.2 x 76.7 x 8.2 mm) than its ancestor. The grip is no less pleasant, especially since the edges are softened and do not hurt the hand.

The smartphone turns out to be full. Between a reactive fingerprint sensor under the screen, well -placed buttons on the right edge and compatibility with a microSD card (which then occupies the second SIM card slot), nothing is missing. We appreciate that the terminal can accommodate an ESIM and support Bluetooth 5.3 like WiFi 6, without forgetting obviously 5G. Only missing the mini-jack call, confined to entry-level mobiles, as well as the wireless load reserved for more sophisticated models.

Last point, and not least: the Galaxy A54 5G, like the A53, is certified IP67, which sanctions its resistance to immersion in water.
