How to use the Canal+ application on my TV

Here are the steps to follow to subscribe to the desired offer via mobile.

1 You first access a summary of the offer selected as below. Press on Confirm.

2 You will then have to create a channel account+. To do this, enter the requested information then read and accept the general conditions of use. Finally, press Following.

3 Then enter the contact details of the subscription holder and then press Following.

4 Inform your payment information, Read and accept the General Subscription Conditions and Terms of the offer then press Confirm.

How to connect to the Canal application+ ?

1 Launch the Canal+application, then select To log in.

2 The page below is then displayed: go to the page indicated.

3 On this page, enter the information from your Canal + account then select To validate.

4 Then enter the code displayed on your TV then select To validate.

5 Once the code has been validated, a page is displayed informing you that you are connected and can now access the various application services.

6 On the home page of the Canal+application, the “Home”, “Live”, “Channels and Apps” sections, “My videos” are accessible by sailing with the arrows of your remote control.

UHD: Several films are available in 4K.

Live : You find the programs live, like “it starts today”.

Channels and apps: You find the Canal+ channels and the video services (VOD canal, channel series, lionsgate+).

What are the models compatible with the application ?

All 2018 models are compatible.

How to check the version of the installed application ?

Go to the main menu of your Samsung TV then Dand the Apps menu. Then select the corresponding application. The information page opens then, where it is possible to see the current version.

How to install the channel application+ ?

To find and install the Canal+application, simply do a search in the “smart hub” of your TV.

What are the models compatible with the application ?

• On TV 2015 : UXXJU6400 – UXXJU7500 (UHD model) and UEXXJ5500 – UXXJ6500 (FHD model)

XX being screen size (43, 55, 65, etc.))

• On TV 2016 and TV 2017 : all models are compatible

What if the application does not start properly ?

Two error messages may appear:

• If you have not yet subscribed: “Impossible to access the subscription route”.
• If you have already subscribed: the message “please wait” as well as the loading icon.

Version 1.33.2 of the Canal+ application causes these errors. To resolve this dysfunction, simply update the application.

The application update is carried out automatically during a restart. To do this, leave the application by pressing the return key of your remote control 5 seconds and restart the application.

How to check the version of the installed application ?

1. Access the applications of your smart hub by pressing the home key on your remote control and then selecting “apps”.
2. Then access the downloaded applications.
3. Scroll the applications until you are positioned on the Canal+ application and press the “OK” key of your remote control 5 seconds 5 seconds. A menu appears then.
4. Finally, select “Show information”. You can then consult the installed version as well as the latest version of the available application.

What if an error message appears ?

Following the update of your TV, the Canal+ application can display the message “Err-Cer-Gencence” at start-ups.

In this case, wait 5 seconds.

The application restarts without you having manipulation to do.

Then, the message “please wait” is displayed on the screen and the application starts normally.

Customers who benefit from Disney+ with their offer have several choices to activate or create their account:

• If you have received a Canal+ e-mail confirming access to Disney+, just follow the indications given to pair your Canal+ account to your Disney account+.
• You can also do this from the website or your Canal+space: click on the “Activate my Disney+” button or “Create my Disney+” as follows:

If you need to create a Disney+account, here are the steps to follow:

1 On the displayed screen, select Create my Disney account+.

2 Enter your email address and press Continue.

3 Read General subscription conditions And accept them by selecting Accept and continue.

4 Then choose one password then press Continue.

5 The creation of your account is confirmed. Select Look at Disney+ To start looking at the content of this application.
