Apple certified reconditioned products are used Apple products which are subject to rigorous reconditioning procedures before being put up for sale. Even if only a few aircraft have returned due to technical failures, each device undergoes tests to ensure that it respects Apple quality standards.

Each of the Apple certified products:

is subject to complete operating tests, with replacement of each defective module identified during tests.
The Apple Watch requiring a replacement of parts are not included in Apple certified products.
Go through a strict cleaning and inspection procedure.
Is reconditioned with the appropriate elements: manuals, cables, new boxes.
Includes either the version of the operating system originally supplied with the product, or, in some cases, a more recent version.
Is the subject of a final quality control before being added to the stock of grasplaid products Vendables.
Is reconditioned in special packaging with manuals, cables, and other appropriate elements initially sent with the unit.

Reconditioning procedures comply with the same basic technical rules as testing procedures for Apple finished products.
