I cannot use Gmail for messaging functions (such as digitization to an email) and internet fax (I-Fax)

If you use the Gmail address to send and receive internet emails and faxes, you must configure 2 -step verification.

• Configuration screens may differ depending on your operating system and brother.

Activate verification in 2 steps and create application passwords

1. Open your Google account (https: // myaccount.Google.com/).
2. In the navigation panel, select security.

5. Under “connection to Google”, select Passwords of the application.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Configure the mail server settings

1. Start your web browser.
2. Type “https: // IP device/” address/”in the address line of your browser (where” IP device address “corresponds to the IP address of your device).
   For example:
   https: // 192.168.1.2
3. If necessary, type the password in the field Connection, then click on Connection.

The default password to manage the parameters of this device is at the back of the device and is marked “Pwd“”.

Go to the navigation menu, then click on Network >Network >Protocolle.

In the “POP3/IMAP/SMTP” field, click on advanced settings.

In the “Password of the SMTP-AUTH” account Passwords of the application associated with the Gmail address you have entered in the Field Name of the SMTP-AUTH account.
Enter the Passwords of the application in the Field Confirm the password .

In the “Password of the Vocal Box” field, enter the Passwords of the application associated with the Gmail address you have entered in the Field Name of the SMTP-AUTH account.
Enter the Passwords of the application in the Field Confirm the password .

Click on Send.

Import an e-mail account in Gmail

You have just adopted Gmail as a messaging ? You plan to gradually abandon your other e-mail accounts ? So import them in your new messaging. Gmail will recover your old messages and your address book for you. Manual.

In Gmail, click at the top right on the toothed wheel and select See all parameters. Then display the section Accounts and import. At the line Importing mail and contacts, click on the link Import mail and contacts.

In the window that appears, Gmail requests the address of the account you want to import. Tap it then click on Continue.

The procedure may then differ depending on the messaging you use.

If you import an outlook address.com / hotmail or yahoo mail

If you import an outlook address.com / hotmail or yahoo mail, you will be invited to identify your account, then you will have to authorize access to your information for the Shuttlecloud application, used by Google for importing accounts.

Please note: Gmail may warn you that a pop-up window blocker prevents the application from opening the page. If this is the case, go back to the main Gmail window, and click the icon which signals a blockage in the address bar. Authorize the display of mail pop-ups.Google.com.

Once identified, the service then offers you to import contacts, import messages and import new messages during the next 30 days. We recommend that you leave the 3 options checked. Then click on Launch importation.

Google then tells you that your messages are being imported and that the operation can take up to 2 days. Click on OK.

Return to screen then Settings, You can check that the import is in progress. You can end the import by clicking on Stop.

If you import an account of another messaging

If you import a more classic account, you will only have to type your password. On the next screen, check that the server settings are correct, in particular the username and the address of the Pop server. Gmail may not have managed to identify your pop server.

Once the import is launched ..
