HP Elite Dragonfly G3

HP Elite Dragonfly G3 laptop is a light ultra-portable (990 grams) that has a screen of 13.5 inches available in three versions, the most muscular of which with a definition of 3000 x 2000 pixels OLED. HP prepares the launch of a whole range of products around these 2022 which ultimately takes place. Among these, the Palo Alto firm presented a new laptop oriented towards work and productivity: HP Elite Dragonfly G3.

Original and light format

A rather high -end hybrid ultrabook with a very comfortable 3: 2 screen ratio, on a 13.5 inch screen. The screen offers three configurations: two in 1920×1280 and one in 3 k. The two Full HD+ versions differ by a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² or 1000 cd/m². Its central hinge also makes it possible to fold it entirely to pass the PC in tablet mode.

To continue on the design of the PC, it should not weigh more than 1 kg (depending on the configurations) and it incorporates a classic 3 USB port.1 Supporting the load, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2 port.0, a Nano Sim entrance and a Jack port. We also see the 5 megapixel webcam located above the screen. It has the self-centered framework function so that you always stay in the center of the screen of your interlocutor in the event of a videoconferencing.

The Elite Dragonfly G2 was only equipped with Intel processor and it will be the same for the G3. However, this is equipped with a 12th generation processor coupled with a maximum of 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 to storage.

An audio system suitable for leisure and telework

On the software side, HP promises a better optimization of the voice thanks to the dynamic Voice Leveling and the second generation of its noise reduction algorithm based on the machine learning.

A time when teleworking becomes preponderant, HP has thus thought of improving all the functions of its PC which would be linked to it. This one, thanks to the on-board AI, can now capture the voices and improve them up to 3 meters (for those who have the Bougeotte on a video call) by offering a form of active noise reduction. The two microphones manage to grasp the noises at 360 ° thanks to the function Voice Tracking. And AI is capable of differentiating votes on video calls, in a film or in music and to change the parameters automatically.

The HP Elite Dragonfly G3 should be available on the French market by March. The prices of the various configurations are not yet known.
