How to erase my traces ?
Internet browsers keep in mind the sites visited and searches carried out. If you fear that someone discover that you have visited this site, it is possible to erase these traces.
Clear history
To erase any trace of the sites you have visited, choose one of the steps to follow presented below according to the browser you have.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Open the “Tools” menu at the top right
- Choose “Safety”
- Click on “Delete navigation history”
- Check “History” and “Cookies and websites”
- Click on “Delete”
- Close the dialog

Mozilla Firefox
- Open the “Tools” menu at the top right
- Choose “Options”> “Privacy”> “History”
- Click on “Erase your recent history”
- Check “Navigation history and downloads” and “Cookies”
- Choose the period to be deleted
- Click on “Erase now”
- Close the dialog box

Cancel semi-automatic entry
To erase all traces of the words introduced in search engines, choose one of the steps to follow presented below according to the browser you have.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Open the “Tools” menu at the top right
- Choose “Internet options”, then the “Content” tab
- In the “Semi-automatic” area “area, click” Settings “
- Click on “Delete the semi-automatic entry history”
- Check “Form data” and click “Delete”
- You can also uncheck the “Forms” box from the “Automatic entry parameters” dialog box to avoid storage of this information in the future.
- Click on “OK” to close the dialog box
Mozilla Firefox
- Open the “Tools” menu at the top right

Internet Explorer 11 was definitively disabled via an update of Microsoft Edge on certain versions of Windows 10. If a site you visit needs the Internet Explorer 11, you can recharge it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge. We recommend that you use Microsoft Edge for faster, more secure and more modern web browsing experience.
Your browser history represents the information stored by Internet Explorer on a PC when you browse the web. To improve your experience, this history includes the information you have entered into the forms, passwords and sites you have visited. However, if you use a shared or public PC, you may not want the Internet Explorer to register your history.
Show your navigation history and delete specific sites
By displaying your browsing history, you can choose to delete specific sites or return to a web page that you have already visited.
- In Internet Explorer, select The favorite button.
- Click on the tab Historical, Then choose how to display your history by selecting a filter from the menu. To delete specific sites, right -click on a site in one of these lists, then click on DELETE. You can also return to a page by clicking on one of the sites on the list.
Delete your navigation history
The regular deletion of your navigation history helps protect your confidentiality, especially if you use a shared or public PC.
- In Internet Explorer, select the button Tools, point on security, then select Delete navigation history.
- Choose the data types or the files you want to delete from your PC, then select DELETE.

Websites that you have excluded from ActiveX filtering and data that your browser uses to detect tracking activities.
List of sites you have saved in your favorites. Do not delete favorites if you only want to eliminate specific sites: this would delete all your registered sites.
Inprivate filtering data
Saved data used by InPrivate filtering to detect cases where sites are likely to automatically share details on your visit.
