Google and Microsoft release a very improved corrector for portable Android keyboards
The automatic laptops evolve and extend to a grammatical and even stylistic correction. This function will soon be integrated into the alternative keyboards Gboard and Swiftkey.

It may be the end of spelling and grammar faults in SMS. Our phones will soon be equipped with a kind of public writer, which will go much further than current automatic correction systems. Automatic correctors who take a word for another are often lacking: we are in a hurry, we don’t reread ourselves and the phone writes anything !
With artificial intelligence, correction will no longer be made by word, as you go, but on entire sentences. In addition to spelling mistakes, this will also point out the faults of agreements and conjugation.
It will not be a separate application, but a function directly integrated into the keyboard, the one that is displayed as soon as you have something to type on your phone or tablet. It will therefore work in all applications, not just for messaging. The option should be available in the coming weeks on Google and Swiftkey’s Gboard keyboards from Microsoft.
Automatic rewriting in another style
This improved keyboard will also turn into a public writer. When a sentence or a paragraph is written, it will be possible to request a reformulation in a more formal, funnier, or more poetic style … And if we prefer to communicate with the images, he can also generate a “gif” ( small animation) or a “meme” (comic images that we see on social networks).
For the moment, the preliminary version only exists in English. And, as for Chat GPT, it will still be necessary.

Google Maps gives up a very practical feature
Google Maps’ color code has evolved, and not for the best.

For years, Google Maps has been guiding its users. Whether in public transport, by car, on foot or by bicycle. The application has become essential for many people. So much so that some do not hesitate to trust him blindly, even if it means borrowing a bridge in ruins and finding death.
Regularly, Google offers its navigation application updates with its share of new features. The goal is to simplify the life of its users. Unfortunately, today, it is a very practical functionality that disappears from Google Maps. The color code implemented by the application has evolved. The problem is that the car route is now less readable than before.
Google Maps changes its color code
So far, using Google Maps by car was extremely simple. A simple glance was enough to know if you were going to spend long minutes in the traffic jams or not. The route was therefore divided, depending on the traffic density. Green ? Nothing to report, the circulation is fluid. Orange ? It starts to complicate, traffic is quite dense. Red ? Save that can, there are significant slowdowns on your way !
Thanks to this color code, it was easy to know what to stick and to opt for an alternative route, less slowed down by traffic. But it’s ancient history. Indeed, green has disappeared from the car trips offered by Google Maps. Orange and red colors are always part, of course, but green no longer means fluidity. From now on, it is the lack of color that indicates fluid circulation.
Several users are disappointed with this new feature. Rightly: journeys are less readable than before and finding an alternative path is less intuitive. A detail, maybe. But that should not be overlooked. Applications updates are supposed to make the user experience more pleasant. Nevertheless, it would seem that the tech giant has this time bet next.
It remains to be seen whether this update is ephemeral or if Google Maps will, finally, rear machine, realizing that its users regret the sweet green rhyming with fluid circulation.
